Chapter 7

Notes: Well, I think I got 90% of this done in about two weeks and then I spent another two weeks trying to figure out the backgrounds. Some of them came out really well and I’m happy with the improvement while others are… a bit of a mess, haha. But I couldn’t look at them any longer so that’s that. I switched from using program generated screentones and am just using a paper pattern over grey tones. There’s less mess with the moire and I can’t actually tell that much difference. I might use tones occasionally but we’ll see.

I’d love to learn how to get better at backgrounds. I do okay with the lines but then adding texture and depth, it gets pretty messy. I’ll just keep trying.
