Chapter 2

Notes: I got caught up with Tears of the Kingdom and abandoned this for a few weeks. It was too much screen time so my eyes are also pretty tired.

It was interesting to work on so many panels with Mose & Rebecca in them. They’re not enjoyable to draw, which probably means I’m learning, so I’m trying to lean into that feeling. After a while I could whip them off pretty quickly, although there’s a tonne of variation in their faces. I found the backgrounds more challenging but also more interesting. Tried to spend less time using complex greys and doing enough to create the atmosphere I want. It went a lot faster this time. I focused on using much smaller brushes for the line work and I think that’s gone well too.

I’ll need to start focusing on how to draw pants so they aren’t abstract blobs.
